ARO (K) founders identified the need to assist Rail Operators in furthering their commercial capacity in order to address the transport market in Kenya and also create a unique opportunity for efficient rail operation with uninterrupted service to vast regional, national and international markets

ARO (K) has developed a model that is centred around reducing the transportation of bulk cargo by introducing a multimodal solution that will predominantly use rail as mode of transport for long haulage combined with adequate trucks that provide flexibility on both ends of the railway infrastructure.

The multimodal solution provides a transport clinker option with low energy usage and reduced operational costs and overheads, whilst improving compliance to safety and environment-friendly requirements
